The total cost of our Spanish programs
includes all instruction, text materials (except dictionaries),
airport pick-up, breakfast, dinner and housing with a host family.
Married couples taking a program receive a 5% discount. Students who
extend beyond four weeks receive a 10% discount for the extended period.
Family and group discounts are given. If you are interested in
receiving college credit, please keep in mind that the fees presented
here do not include transcripting fees from sponsoring institutions.

The lodge
rates are in addition to the program prices and are per person per week.
They include all meals, laundry service, and daily shuttle service between
the campus and Santa Ana. Both lodges are closed for the last two weeks of
the year. Homestays are available for this period.

The
Children's Program is limited to children (6-10 years old) whose parents
are enrolled at Conversa and includes housing with a Costa Rican
host-family. Each program is tailored to the child's age and language
proficiency.
These programs are taught by experienced instructors and include two hours
per morning of formal classroom instruction and two hours or supervised
recreational activities entirely in Spanish. These activities may include
coloring, puzzles, games, videos or sports.
The
Child Care service is available ONLY to parents enrolled in a Conversa
program whose children are too young to take part in our Children's
Programs. This service is offered both at the host family or on-campus,
depending on which lodging option the family selects.

CYCLE DATES
Conversa recommends
that students attend the program for a four-week cycle. However, students may
choose shorter or longer programs. Students should try to begin on the first day of a cycle, but if this is not possible, they can begin any Monday.

A completed registration and
$200 deposit must be received by Conversa for confirmation. The
deposit is non-refundable and is applied to the balance due on total
tuition. To pay the deposit, please mail your check to the address below or call Conversa at 1-888-669-1664 to pay over the phone using a credit card:

Payment
Payment of balance is made in full on the
first day of the program in the form of a
personal check, traveler's checks, cash or credit card.
Cancellation and Refund
There is a $200 cancellation fee, and students
are charged for classes taken at the
weekly rate. There are no refunds for partial weeks of study.
National Holidays
Conversa does not offer classes on national
holidays in Costa Rica.
There are no refunds for these days. The school is closed on January 1,
April 11, Easter Thursday and Friday, May 1, July 25, August 15, September
15, October 12 and December 25.
